King-Chavez is incredibly proud and honored to recognize Leah Dato as the El Dorado Charter SELPA 2024 Administrator of the Year!
This month, the El Dorado Charter SELPA hosted its 9th annual Inspiration to Action Symposium: The Power of Hope. Held at the Legacy Center Resort in San Diego, more than 270 attendees from County Offices, SELPAs, LEAs, and Nonpublic Agencies came together to recognize the 2024 Outstanding Educators of the Year. Leah was one of three honorees at the event.
Since joining the King-Chavez family in 2018 as the Special Education Director, Leah has served as both an inspiration and integral role in the success of our students, families, and community. She works hand in hand with teachers and support staff, provides vision and leadership in special education, advocates for students and families, and embodies the King-Chavez mission by always serving from a foundation of love.
