Sixth-grade students from Preparatory Academy traded their classroom for the great outdoors during their overnight stay at Camp Cuyamaca! As a San Diego County Office of Education program, this unique camp connects science and nature through hands-on learning experiences that reflect the Next Generation Science Standards. Students engaged in lessons incorporating trail experiences and citizen science projects while building skills such as self-reliance, social responsibility, and teamwork.
